Team

Chris is an Optica Fellow with expertise in development and modeling of ultrafast lasers, nonlinear optical devices, and frequency comb based sensors. In 2024 he moved to San Jose, California and founded Spectraforge Labs. Before that he was a Senior Research Scientist at ETH Zurich in Switzerland, where he led a team building low-noise and high-power ultrafast lasers and high-sensitivity dual-comb measurement systems.
